Pharco Pharmaceuticals is the parent company of the Pharco Group and was founded in 1983 by Dr. Hassan Abbas Helmy. Since its establishment, Pharco has grown into one of the leading pharmaceutical organizations in Egypt and the MENA region.

Leadership

The company is currently led by Dr. Sherine Hassan Abbas Helmy, Pharco’s CEO, who brings over 30 years of experience, continuing the legacy of the company’s founder.

Pharco also collaborated with international research partners to develop affordable antiviral treatments and established Egypt’s first GMP-compliant API manufacturing facility, reinforcing long-term pharmaceutical sustainability.
